Luna Yu

My name is Luna Yu, born in 2003, I went to Asian Pacific Experimental School of Beijing University for the first 5 years of elementary school, then immigrated to Seattle in the US, currently studying at Newport High School as a ninth grader. Personally, I focus on music and sports quite a lot. I’m singing as an alto in our school choir and was a member of the cross-country team. Outside of school, I’m currently performing with the choir for the Bel Pres Church in my community, also playing as a forward and mid-fielder on the Lake Hills 03 Girls soccer team. I was introduced to the ICARE program in 2018 when I went to inner Mongolia with my team members, I was surprised yet consoled. I’m looking forward to bringing more stories and personal experiences about the US and sharing them to more students in China.
