A Bit About Us

Bridging the Gap

Welcome! I CARE is an educational non-profit organization founded in 2014 by Cody Huyan, Elisa Guo, and Anna Guo. Living in today's world, where almost all industries continue to internationalize, the abilities for the young generation to understand different cultures and communicated in different languages become increasingly important. English, the most spoken language in the world, inevitably becomes a critical skill that most of the millennials must acquire, no matter nationality, race, or the industry. Through road trips to marginal areas of China, we saw a gap in English Education -- a gap that currently exists between the opportunities, level, and quality of English education in major cities and marginal areas. Here at I CARE, we are dedicated to bridging that gap.

Summer Projects

The ultimate goal of the annual summer project is to inspire the students' interest in learning English, which is the fundamental element of any further improvement on their English

Our Next Steps

Training Sessions In Beijing

The best way to fundamentally bridge the gap in English education is to provide better resource to the marginal areas of China. We as I CARE members are aware that no matter how many years we keep doing our summer projects, there are only a certain number of students we can influence. However, if we give teachers an opportunity to train in one of Beijing's top schools for English education, then they will be able to go back and better their English teaching for numerous students. That's why, along with the annual summer projects, I CARE decided to promote a training session project for teachers from marginal areas.
